Akc Beagle Breeders
AKC beagle breeders should avoid breeding dogs for rescues, and should show a photo and pedigrees to buyers.
Some novice owners report these dogs being very difficult to train. It’s only partially true, because being very intelligent and curious, these hounds like everything new and don’t like to obey and do boring exercises. Living on their own agenda, these dogs may be stubborn and reluctant to follow the rules. Positive motivation and variable exercises work very effective with this breed. These hounds rarely excel in obedience, but they are good at agility, tracking and hunting. Early socializing and obedience training are necessary for every puppy of this breed.
