These are scenting hounds that are cute and compact in appearance and lively in temperament. These hounds strive for exercise and outdoor activities, and therefore, require plenty of attention on the owner’s part. Their short coat is relatively easy to groom. Smart and versatile, these dogs are not highly trainable. Housebreaking these hounds may take up to a year, if the owner is not firm enough and cannot control the dog.
